They form the foundation for consistency, safety, and compliance across our operations

At Guararapes, sustainability guides the way we design processes, manage operations, and ensure consistency from day-to-day activities to the delivery of our final products. In this context, certifications are important drivers of continuous improvement for our entire team.
Whether in MDF or plywood manufacturing, we meet the main international standards required for the use of our products in different markets, including Brazil, North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Our MDF products meet standards such as CARB2 and PBQP-H (Brazilian Habitat Quality and Productivity Program). In turn, our plywood line holds certifications that enable us to serve a range of international markets, including CE2+, CE4, PS1-22, AS/NZS 2269 (BV), ZE05, CARB2, and UKCA.

Both product lines are FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC-C041303) certified, ensuring that the wood used in our products is sourced from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources, in accordance with rigorous social, environmental, and economic criteria.

As part of our commitment to environmental transparency, we were one of the first Brazilian companies in the sector to obtain Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for both plywood and MDF products. Based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), EPDs evaluate the environmental performance of products from raw material sourcing to end-of-life.
Among our institutional certifications, in 2026 we were recertified under ISO 14001, focused on environmental management, and ISO 45001, related to occupational health and safety.

We consider these certifications part of an ongoing journey of improvement. This is how we continue evolving our operations, with environmental responsibility, care for people, and consistency in product delivery.
